FILM STORY

The film tells part of the incredible life story, of one the biggest Serbian underground bosses, set in the former Yugoslavia, while it was falling apart. Darko was a boxer, a professional gambler, one of the leading characters in ex-YU undergorund . A nationalist, firmly believing that the Yugoslavian utopia dream is more then sustainable. Being led by his belief he became one of the first people from the underground, working for YU secret service, as a specialist for “operations” done abroad.
It all begins in the early 90’s, with a political execution, done in Brussels, and later the story develops in Belgrade. The war was on, as well on the battlefield and on the hot city streets. The threat of newcomers, willing to risk their lives for the “bosses throne”, was getting bigger. Darko
starts losing his old friends in Belgrade, as well as on the battlefield. While trying to reconnect with the secret service, searching for help, he realizes that it does not exists any more, as well as his beloved country. Everything he cherished is slowly dying or it is already gone.
He is damned to wait for the bullet to catch him, until summer of 1998.
